Beef and Potato Stew

Ingredients

1 420g can Hertford Roast Beef with Gravy
1 Cup onions, chopped
1 tablespoon of butter
5 Cups potatoes, largely diced
2 Cups carrots, chopped
1 sq beef stock cube
1 pinch ground pepper
3 Cups water
1 loaf warm bread

Directions

1. Sauté the onions in butter until soft.
2. Add all of the other ingredients in a saucepan, add 3 cups water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 35 minutes.
3. Serve hot with warm, crusty bread.
